Call for Speakers

The Conference Committee welcomes abstracts from a broad range of voices that share leading practice, creative approaches, diverse knowledge, meaningful stories, case studies, applied research, and impactful collaborations.

Water is one of the most important resources for any nation, but in Australia, with our vast arid areas and expanding populations, its future availability and quality is under pressure. If you have expertise and knowledge you can share with conference delegates on our 2025 Conference theme, now is the time to submit your application to present.

There will be a number of forums for you to present, poster presentations, a hands-on workshops and short Fab 5 – style presentations to name just a few.

Our submission portal is now open. Submit a presentation or poster abstract via the Presentation Portal to share your experience and ideas with this highly engaged audience.

Accepted speakers receive a 50% discount on registrations.

Junior Water Professionals

The Australian Hydrographers Association is proud to support our junior water monitoring professionals with the inaugural Junior Hydrographers Poster Presentation Session at the 2025 AHA Conference in Launceston.

If you have less than five years of field experience, we invite you to participate by presenting a short, 5-minute poster or submitting a pre-recorded video showcasing your work as a hydrographer.

This is your chance to:

  • Gain recognition for your work and put your name out in the industry.
  • Share your passion and inspire others to consider hydrography as a career path.
  • Connect with industry leaders and peers.
Accepted submissions receive a 50% discount on conference registrations and are automatically entered into the prestigious AHA Young Water Professionals Award, offering incredible opportunities for career growth.

We encourage you to register your interest now by completing this form.
