Join us in Sydney from 30 November to 2 December 2026 for the national conference of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia. 

This year will focus on The Perfect Fit, showcasing how HFE can better align people with the environments, technologies, and organisational contexts they operate within, while addressing real-world challenges across industry. The Perfect Fit is not a fixed endpoint, but an invitation to think broadly about how people, systems, and contexts interact. It encourages reflection on fit as something that is designed, negotiated, and continually reshaped.

The conference is in person only. Session recordings will be available to registered delegates after the conference.

Summary

Cancellation Policy
Our Cancellation Policy is as follows: - Cancellations must be received in writing to conference@ergonomics.org.au - Cancellations received on or before 13 November 2026 will be accepted and a full refund of the registration cost will be provided. -Cancellations received after 13 November 2026 and on or before 20 November 2026 will be accepted and a refund of 50% of the registration cost will be provided. - No refunds are available for cancellations received after 20 November 2025 Changes after this time may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and we’ll endeavour to refund the full difference if it’s due to new COVID related restrictions within that time frame. Substitutions are accepted, please contact the HFESA Conference Manager conference@ergonomics.org.au
