  • Registration to attend sessions on Thursday, 22 August 2024 is only available to ASDP Members and Trainee Members. 
  • You will have the opportunity to review and edit any registration details before the final stage of confirmation and payment
  • You can book your accommodation via this registration form or book at a later date separately.

The 2024 ASDP Annual Conference is held between Thursday, 22 - Saturday, 24 August 2024 at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast as a face-to-face event. 

This year's theme is Embracing Complexity, Finding Simplicity which provides an opportunity to listen, discuss, and connect on topics relevant to the children and families we care for. 

Use the below Registration Form to register for the conference.

If you'd like to book accommodation, please contact the Sheraton Grand Mirage or other hotels on the Gold Coast directly for their best available rates. Rooms within the ASDP group block have now been sold out.

Welcome Reception

We would like to invite all people attending the ASDP 2024 Conference to join us at the Welcome Reception on Thursday, 22 August 2024. Conveniently located at the Poolside Lawns at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, this event will be a casual meet and greet event, including canapes and beverages. 

Tickets to the Welcome Reception are included in the full, 3-day registrations and Thursday-inclusive registrations. If you've booked one of these options, you'll see your inclusive ticket below.
For catering purposes, please select the checkbox to indicate if you plan to attend the Welcome Reception.  

If you have not booked one of the inclusive registration packages, tickets for this social event are available for purchase at an extra cost. Guests are welcome.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner is held on Friday, 23 August and offers participants a chance to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed setting while getting to know each other and making new connections outside the main conference environment. The dinner is a highlight of the conference and makes for an excellent opportunity to network with your industry peers.  

This is a ticketed event with a limited number of places, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Extra tickets may be purchased for guests if desired.  

Tickets include transfers to and from the dinner venue.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation by you: You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for the Event for any reason. If you have paid a registration fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email: (i) more than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, ASDP will refund the registration fee in full less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time. (ii) less than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, no refund will be payable by ASDP You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for a social function. If you have paid a registration fee for a social function and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email more than 15 days before that function, ASDP will refund the social function registration fee in full. No refunds are available for cancellations within 15 days from the function. Accommodation If ASDP facilitates booking of accommodation for the Event, cancellations in whole or part may incur a penalty at the supplier’s discretion under the terms of the supplier’s cancellation policy. You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your accommodation booking for the Event for any reason. If you have paid the accommodation fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email: (i) more than 30 days prior to the first day of your booked arrival date, ASDP will refund the accommodation fee in full less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time. (ii) less than 30 days prior to your booked arrival date, no refund will be payable by ASDP. Accommodation cancellations within 30 days of the event are charged at 100% of the booked accommodation.
