The Fourteenth Annual ASDP Conference will be held from Thursday, 20 to Saturday, 22 August 2026 at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park, delivered as an in-person event. Pre-conference Special Interest Group meetings and workshops will take place on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.

Guided by the theme Development and Learning: Unlocking the Puzzles, the conference brings together clinicians and educators to explore issues central to the children and families we support. The program is designed to encourage discussion, shared learning, and practical takeaways across clinical and educational settings.

Accommodation bookings are facilitated by ASDP. You may choose to book your room now or return later to secure accommodation. A limited number of rooms have been reserved in a discounted group block. Tickets to the Welcome Reception are included in the full, 3-day registrations and Thursday-inclusive registrations. If you've booked one of these options, you'll see your inclusive ticket below.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will be held on Friday 21 August at the Melbourne Museum, offering delegates the opportunity to enjoy great food in an iconic setting while connecting with colleagues outside the main conference program. The dinner is a highlight of the conference and provides a relaxed environment for networking and conversation.

This is a ticketed event with a limited number of places, so early booking is recommended. Additional tickets may be purchased for guests.

Please note that tickets do not include transport to or from the dinner venue.

ASDP has secured a limited number of rooms at the conference hotel for delegates. Three room types are available, all including breakfast. Rooms are available in our group booking from 19 August to 22 August 2026.

Three room types are available within the group block, all including breakfast:

  • Pullman Classic Room @ $300 per night
  • Mercure Superior Room @ $215 per night
  • Pullman Superior Room @ $330 per night - available on Thursday and Friday nights only

Accommodation can be booked at the time of registration or added later, subject to availability. Once the allocated room block is fully booked, accommodation will be offered at the hotel’s best available rate.

Accommodation bookings at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park are facilitated through the ASDP 2026 Annual Conference registration process and are subject to the supplier's cancellation policy, and cancellations in whole or part may incur a penalty at the supplier’s discretion. Cancellations must be received in writing to annualmeeting@asdp.au. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellation by you: You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for the Event for any reason. If you have paid a registration fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email: (i) more than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, ASDP will refund the registration fee in full less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time. (ii) less than 15 days prior to the first day of the Event, no refund will be payable by ASDP You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration for a social function. If you have paid a registration fee for a social function and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email more than 15 days before that function, ASDP will refund the social function registration fee in full. No refunds are available for cancellations within 15 days from the function. Accommodation If ASDP facilitates booking of accommodation for the Event, cancellations in whole or part may incur a penalty at the supplier’s discretion under the terms of the supplier’s cancellation policy. You must notify ASDP by email at annualmeeting@asdp.au as soon as possible if you need to cancel your accommodation booking for the Event for any reason. If you have paid the accommodation fee and you notify ASDP of a cancellation by email: (i) more than 30 days prior to the first day of your booked arrival date, ASDP will refund the accommodation fee in full less a cancellation fee as determined from time to time. (ii) less than 30 days prior to your booked arrival date, no refund will be payable by ASDP. Accommodation cancellations within 30 days of the event are charged at 100% of the booked accommodation.
