AHA TECHNICAL WORKSHOP 2026 - REGISTRATION

The AHA 2026 Technical Workshop is a biennial, hands-on technical event bringing together hydrographers, water monitoring professionals and industry partners in a practical, field-based environment.

Delivered face-to-face in Victor Harbor and the Coorong region, the workshop combines venue-based technical sessions, live vendor demonstrations and a controlled-flow gauging regatta at Salt Creek.

Across three program days, participants will engage in:

  • STIV and ADCP flow monitoring discussions and demonstrations
  • Water quality best community practice
  • Data management and rating development
  • Transit through the Coorong Barrages with operational briefings
  • Full-day gauging regatta under controlled release conditions
  • Collaborative data review workshop

This is not a traditional conference format. It is a working environment where equipment is tested, compared and analysed in real conditions.

Registration Includes

  • Welcome networking on Monday evening
  • Day 1 technical sessions and vendor demonstrations
  • Day 2 field regatta at Salt Creek
  • Day 3 data workshop and analysis session
  • All catering during workshop days, including morning tea and lunch

Optional return group transport between Adelaide and Victor Harbor is available and can be selected during registration.

Adelaide to Victor Harbor Transport

A return group transfer between Adelaide and Victor Harbor will be arranged for delegates who require transport, subject to sufficient interest. The indicative cost is approximately $100 per person, pending final numbers.
