CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

The annual Australian Bushfire Building Conference is the only event of its type for professionals involved in the planning, designing, building, landscaping, consulting, regulating, and certification of buildings in bushfire-prone areas.

Now in its 10th year, the conference will showcase how far we’ve come since our first event in 2015.

Our theme is A decade of learning: Celebrating 10 years. 

The program will include formal presentations and keynote speakers, and although each session will be recorded, it will be an in-person-only event this year. Ten years of making a difference in bushfire planning and design shouldn’t go uncelebrated and we want to bring everyone together for this milestone event.

Conference Registration Inclusions:

Pre-conference BPAD Forum:

  • Accredited BPAD professionals are invited to attend the FPAA BPAD Forum on Wednesday, 11 September 2024. 

Conference tickets include the following:

  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 11 September 2024 at 5.30pm
  • 2-Day Conference with catering on Thursday, 12 and Friday, 13 September 2024
  • Access to session recordings after the event via the OnAIR virtual conference portal

Conference and Dinner tickets include all of the above and:

  • Networking Dinner on Thursday, 12 September 2024 from 6.30pm 
  • Transport to the dinner venue and back to the Fairmont Resort

Pre-conference BPAD Forum

The pre-conference BPAD Forum on Wednesday, 11 September, is run by the Fire Protection Association of Australia and is available to accredited BPAD practitioners.

If you are an accredited BPAD Practitioner and would like to attend the BPAD Forum, please register below.

Please note, the BPAD Forum is a pre-conference workshop and is not a stand-alone event. Bookings for this workshop are only available together with a conference registration.

Our Cancellation Policy is as follows: All cancellations must be received in writing at events@bmcoferences.com.au. Conference registrations and functions tickets: • Can be cancelled by 11 August 2024 without penalty • After 11 August 2024 50% cancellation fee applies (based on purchased registration fee) • After 28 August 2024 100% cancellation fee applies (based on purchased registration fee) If the conference attendance is cancelled, there will be an option to purchase access to session recordings after the event. Please note that no certificate of attendance will be provided for the session recordings.

Accommodation Booking

We’ve reserved a number of rooms at the Fairmont Resort exclusively for conference delegates. These rooms are available at a special delegate price of $289 per night for a limited time and include breakfast for one in Jamisons Restaurant.

Any rooms not reserved in our group booking will be returned to the Hotel in August, so do not hesitate to secure your accommodation.
